AI Meeting Intelligence
AI Meeting Intelligence turns your raw meeting notes into structured insights — automatically. When you log a meeting in SwiftlyCRM, the AI reads your notes and extracts the signals that matter most for closing the deal.
How It Works
Logging Meeting Notes
Open any Opportunity or Contact, go to the Activity tab, and click Log Meeting. You can write in either style:

| Structured | Fill in labelled fields for topics covered, attendees, decisions, and action items |
Both formats are supported by the AI extraction engine. Free-text often produces richer results because it captures nuance and phrasing that structured fields can miss.
Triggering AI Extraction
AI extraction runs automatically when you save a meeting log that contains more than 30 words of content. A spinner appears next to the meeting entry while extraction is in progress — typically 5–15 seconds. You do not need to click anything to trigger it.
To re-run extraction on an existing meeting (for example, after editing the notes), open the meeting detail and click Re-extract with AI.
What the AI Extracts

Each extracted field includes the source text that the AI used as evidence, shown in a collapsible quote below the extracted value.
Where Extracted Insights Appear
Extracted insights are stored on the meeting record and surfaced in two places:
- Deal Timeline — The meeting entry in the opportunity timeline expands to show a structured summary of extracted fields. Team members reviewing the deal can see the full picture without reading raw notes.
- Contact Record — The contact's interaction timeline also shows the extracted summary, so anyone engaging with that person has context from previous meetings.
Model Differences by Plan

Note
Upgrading your plan immediately applies the higher-quality model to all new extractions. Existing extractions are not retroactively re-processed but can be manually re-run.
AI Credit Consumption
Each extraction — whether triggered automatically on save or manually via Re-extract — consumes 1 AI credit. Credits are reset at the start of each billing period. Your remaining credits are displayed in Settings → Usage.
If you run out of credits, meeting notes are still saved but extraction is skipped. A banner on the meeting record indicates that extraction is pending and will run when credits are replenished.
Editing or Overriding AI-Extracted Fields
The AI extraction is a starting point, not the final word. Click the pencil icon next to any extracted field to edit the value manually. Edited fields are marked with a small "Edited" badge so your team knows the value was human-reviewed. Your edits are preserved even if the meeting notes are updated later — re-running extraction overwrites only the un-edited fields.
