5-Minute Quick Start Checklist
This checklist gets you and your team productive in SwiftlyCRM in under 5 minutes. Check off each step as you go.
Step 1 — Complete Your Organisation Profile (1 min)
Go to Settings → Organisation and add:
- Organisation name
- Logo (optional but recommended)
- Country and timezone
This ensures your PDFs and client-facing documents look professional immediately.
Step 2 — Invite at Least One Team Member (1 min)
Go to Settings → Team Members → Invite User.
Even if you're a solo user right now, adding a colleague unlocks collaboration features like task assignments and @mentions.
Step 3 — Add Your First Contact (1 min)
Go to Contacts → + New Contact and add:
- A real prospect or client you're currently working with
- Their company, email, and phone
If you have a spreadsheet of contacts, import them as CSV instead.
Step 4 — Create Your First Pipeline Opportunity (1 min)
Go to Pipeline → + New Opportunity and fill in:
- The deal name (e.g., "Acme Corp — Website Redesign")
- Link it to the contact you just created
- Set an estimated value and expected close date
Step 5 — Log Your First Activity (30 sec)
Open the opportunity you just created and click Log Activity.
Record the last interaction you had with this prospect — even a brief email counts. This starts your deal's timeline and reminds you what's happened so far.
